With great pleasure, Las Doas de la Corte welcomes you to the 63rd annual Buccaneer Days
Coronation, The Court of Culture & Costume in Dance.
The excitement and pleasure of dance has always been an integral part of every human society. This
years theme celebrates the extraordinary movements, music and costume of dance, which convey
meaning beyond that which words can express.
We hope you enjoy these inspired interpretations conceived by Janet Herbst and Sandy McCampbell
along with local artists, Leslie Phillips-Greco and Patricia Phillips. These glorious designs are brought
to life by Couturiers Georgette Afram, Gloria Bechara and Samia Bechara-Palfreyman, Monica
Castillo, Lucy Salinas and Andres Contreras.
