Cloud Homework Journal

For homework this week you are expected to make an outside observation of the
clouds and weather in your area for at least 15 minutes. During your daily
observations, you are to record the data .

Directions: First, create a cover page for your journal that includes your name and
class section.
Each days observations will have 5 parts:
1. Write the date, exact time you began your observation, the
exact time you ended the observation and the location in which
you collected your data.
2. Diagram/illustrate the clouds you observe. Only clouds, please!
3. Describe in detail the properties that you observe with the
clouds.
4. Describe the weather associated with the cloud you observed.
5. Write at least 2 inferences that you made for your observation.
One inference must be the classification of the cloud. For
example:

___________________ cloud (cumulus, cirrus, or stratus?
Is there a
prefix that goes with it?)
