Preface
With this project my objective is to inform the people of this powerful nation about the
corrupt bodies in our government. Throughout the years, we have established ourselves
as a country, raised powerful leaders, and brought the world to new heights with our
advancements in technology and industrial enterprises. Although, we have also fallen into
massive debt, been at war for decades at a time, and even betrayed by our own citizens.
Through all of that, one thing is certain; no government of any sort is completely safe
from corruption. The U.S. itself has had many theories and conspiracies, some even
proved right, about what goes on behind closed doors. Ive come to believe that there is
very little room for truth in our politics and economic standpoint in our country. With the
amount of people in the seats that represent what we stand for and how we will handle
our problems and money as a country, there is prodigious amounts of room for error. The
role that government plays in our lives is crucial, we turn on the news in the morning and
whether we know of it or not, the government it controlling our way of thinking by what
they advertise on television. The government may be able to indirectly control news
content, providing various inducements to encourage the private owner to bias coverage
away from the commercial optimal editorial policy.(Gehlback.pg.10)

Government Corruption: The

Breakdown
In our society, its hit or miss when it comes to who handles our well-being. Many
politicians or bigger business owners that handle our economic and financial
obligations are out for more than our satisfaction. Many men and women that
are given the power to control such things take it as a way to corrupt and take
from others. As said in the movie The Wolf of Wall Street, The real question is
this: was all this legal? Absolutely - not. But we were making more money than
we knew what do with (The Wolf of Wall Street). My purpose from informing you
about all of the issues that lie within government corruption is because as people
that live and breathe under the government we should at least be respected
enough to know whats going on. In which case, I would like to express my
feelings on our government and some of the misrepresentation of our
government and demoralization of our country through the people that take
advantage of their positions in our congress, senate, and official positions in our
political practices.

First Ladys Eulogy

For my beloved husband,
Theres nothing that strikes hurt and anger upon my being more than having to lay my
husband to rest, as he was not only there for our family and me, but also for our country
and all of its people. Our loss can be sympathized throughout the world, as many outside
of America knew him to be a great man also. Not only have we lost our countrys leader,,
but weve also lost a fellow citizen that had the bravery and broad vision to guide our
America in such troubled times. With wartime and other critical events, such as the Great
Depression, I, myself, feel blessed to say that I had John not only as my husband, but as
the head of my country. While we are experiencing grief for our loss, it is also a time to
give thanks to God that our country is still standing as a whole and his hard work as our
leader was not put to shame. As a nation we have lost a man who considered and
understood his responsibilities and duties, and fulfilled them with such inspiration to
better our country and well-being. Unfortunately, he was betrayed by a few of our fellow
citizens. Like liberty, speech or equality, corruption is an important concept with unclear
boundaries (Zephyr.2014). We as citizens, family, friends, and acquaintances will never
understand the tragedies that have taken place, but it is not our place to question
unfortunate times, its our responsibility to continue making this country a better place.
We can show our appreciation and give thanks to John by doing so. My husband did all
that he could to try and be a good president before anything, and I respect him more than
anyone else for that. John simply wanted what was best for this country; there was no

anger or dishonesty in his heart. In this time of struggle, we should be united as a

country; not killing the main person trying to get us out of the financial hole that has
buried us. It takes a strong individual to stand in front of millions of people and share
their ideals and strive their whole life to make this a better country. As a part of this
nation, I want there to be a more stable foundation of people standing aside our flag. We
should not hurt or kill one another. We should not harm our neighbors. This written in our
great constitution was broken by an unworthy American citizen. Our great country is free
by the sacrifice of millions of men, not the sacrifice of our great leaders by rebellious
humans. I can only hope that in the years to come the people of this country find it in
their hearts to stop the violence, war, and withhold all of the anger they hold for each
other and use that to fuel a better land to live in. The streets are not safe. We are not
accomplishing our job as leaders and protectors. I can understand if there is doubt in our
countrys leader at this moment in time. No one deserves to feel threatened where they
have to lie down. We need to create an unassailable environment for our generations to
come to grow up in and lead our country. With that being said, we laid my husband and
former president of the United States to rest today in hopes that we can change the future
and make this place impregnable.
Thank you all, the First Lady.

Imagine That!
For my cartoon I drew Uncle Sam with his back turned to a man in an
American Flag suit. I drew this particular picture for my audience to express
that even though someone has even an American flag pin on their shirt, it
doesnt mean they want whats best for our country and our people. The
money bag has The People written on it to represent that they are taking
from the citizens they are supposed to be helping and leading. I wanted to
depict in this particular drawing two kinds of people that are involved with
our government and economics. You have Uncle Sam, who is actually telling
you that your money is safe and a part of him wholly believes that the
government is not just trying to run your life, but the other side of him wants
to take it all for himself. Many people in our country are money ridden and
revolve their lives around taking everything and trying to get every penny no
matter what it takes, and that is the mindset of some of the people who have
betrayed our government or abused their position.

Whipping up Some government

Corruption
Recipe for government corruption:
-An evil genius
-The scam artist
-A handful of helpless people
-Money to take from them
-An oblivious government
First, find an evil genius that has a plan devious enough to suck peoples
money and trust up. Second, get a scam artist to be your sidekick through
your adventure of corrupting a nations government. Next, add a hand full of
helpless people that rely on a government to protect them and their wellbeing. Next, give those hardworking people some money, just so it can be
taken from them. And finally, top it all off with an oblivious government
that still hires untrustworthy and unassuming people to run the country and
make our decisions. Once you have all of that, youll surely have yourself a
corrupt government.

For my recipe How to Whip up Some Government Corruption, I intended to get the
idea out there that not everyone that is a part of our national government is an individual
with our well-being in mind. Sometimes, they even go after what weve made for
ourselves and take it from us for themselves. There have been many instances in
Americas history where someone has betrayed our government for their better being.
There are many conspiracy theories and actual cases of someone taking from, giving out
information from, or deceived the government. Even with instances where government
officials got killed, theres suspicion that John F. Kennedys assassination was
collaborated upon with certain official people in the government. With the type of system
we have in our government, and how much war, poverty, and crime our country is
involved in at this point, its quite hard to narrow it down to really trustworthy, good
people to hold what we literally live for. From the moment that we are born we are not
known only by a name, but by a social security number. From that moment on, we are
completely under the governments control. With that being said, it would be pretty nice
to have a functioning government that runs with ease and is ran by astute, authentic
people.

The Man Himself: What He Has To Say

Hello everyone,
I am pleased to speak to you all this evening. Today I came to address
you all about the governments involvement in the economic crisis at this
moment. We are in the midst of reforming our countrys financial status and
putting full effort to resolve this great time of economic depression. With
war at edge and many deals in progress to attempt to provide more business
and jobs for those out of them right now. Its been a very valuable year for us
in America, we are being given the chance to rebuild our financial status. Its
very difficult sometimes as a country to come together as one and come out
of a hole that we have dug ourselves through war. Even though we have
come a long way from the destruction of World War II, we are still fighting
repercussions from that to this day. At this moment in time, we as a whole
can only help ourselves. To try and help another country with as much debt
and hardship we are dealing with at this moment, would be outrageous.
Given, we do need to continue to build relationships with other countries in
order to keep peace and trades at a good standing. For all of the people out
there concerned about the government and their position in your financial
and economic well-being, we are not here to burden our people with lack of

money. Insider government corruption is not something that we think highly

of at all. With an abundance of people working to keep this country safe and
above float, with officials and officers that work to keep us out of danger.
One barrier to improving public confidence in the police is citizens'
dissatisfaction with the government (Hyunseok 2015). Only we as
government officials can put the trust in you that we will take care of you as
we are working to do every day. That is our job as Americans and we do all
that we can to assure you that it will get done. Thank you all for allowing me
to address you today.
Good night, America.

A Letter from the People

Dear government administration,
I, Macey Brown, am very disappointed as a citizen to
have lost our former president, John F. Kennedy. I hope to
represent the rest of our countrys people in this letter. I
give my thoughts and sympathy to his family. Although, on
a much more concerning matter, now that we have a new
sworn in president, his safety now worries me. For it to
have been so easy for someone to assassinate our former
president, I do not, as a citizen, feel the safest. Although it
is not the same, I feel that the shooter had very little

initiative to take JFKs life. I feel that while we are getting

ready to elect another president, we should take higher
precaution to keep our nations leader safer. After all, if he
is not safe, who is? A lot of people in our country, and even
in others, are concerned as to what motives this man had
to kill our president. Some say its because of how he used
our military for illegal activity, and some even because he
didnt fulfil his promises to us as a leader. As written by
Jacob Cohen on his views of a book written about
conspiracies on JFK, That book may not have caused
Kerrys defeat in his campaign for the presidency, but it

certainly contributed appreciably to that outcome.

(Cohen.2013) Whatever reasons someone may have had to
kill our president, I feel that we should address those.
There is a lot going on in our country right now, from the
cold war to the depression and other economic struggles,
and we as a country are left very exposed when things
happen like that inside our borders and from our very own
citizen. Not only that, but with conspiracies and theories
stating that some of those inside the government were
partially behind the killing. I just want to feel safe in our

country, I hope the next person in office feels the same.

God Bless America.
Sincerely,
Macey Brown
