Reeds is a prominent force in the world of
school rugby: they send out a number of
teams every week with improving results.
When the 15 a side season is over, the rugby
sevens season begins.
For a fairly small school like Reeds, the
seven a side version of the game is the
opportunity to make their mark against the
bigger rugby schools, using a smaller pool of
players.
With the playing field much more levelled,
anticipation is building among the rugby
coaches and players. At the upcoming round
of sevens tournaments: if reeds can perform
well, they will be invited to the National
Sevens. Where they will get the opportunity
to play against the best teams in the country.
