Task 1: (definition of a computer)
an electronic device which is capable of receiving information in a particular form
and of performing a sequence of operations in accordance with a predetermined but
variable set of procedural instructions (program) to produce a result in the form of
information or signals.
Notes: (types of computers)
These are the main types of hybrid computers Super Computers, Mainframe
Computers, Mobile Computers, Mini Computers and Micro Computers.
Task 2: Determine what type of computer each person should purchase:
a) Megan would use a minicomputer because she doesnt need anything too big
but a computer good enough for writing newspaper articles so a
minicomputer is ideal for her job.
b) The company would use a mainframe computer because they are ideal for
storing all the things the company needs stored.
