The door wont budge! I said, trying to push it with all my strength. Its a huge door made
from tons of stones, what do you expect? replied Sally, my assistant in exploring the great
pyramid of Egypt for the search of the magic lamp.
I gave her an annoyed look and sat down beside piles of gold coins worth millions. But we
werent here for the cash. We came here in the search of the lamp that can unlock mysteries
related with ancient Egypt, and now instead of bringing it home with us, we are stuck in a huge
stone room, inside the pyramid.
The room was filled with precious materials such as gold, diamonds, rubies, sapphires and
emeralds. There were even golden statues of various characters like Pharaoh and Cleopatra.
They were covered in ornaments too.
The ceiling and the upper portion of the walls were covered in ancient hieroglyphs that could
be translated into nothing.
But what struck me was the only English sentence right in the middle of the ceiling, written in
a spiral way.
Closest Hour As New Catastrophe Emerges read Sally.
What does that mean?
I dont know I was too tired to think. All the running, dodging, escaping from traps that
featured fire, snakes and arrows had me thirsty as I drank the last drop of water from my flask.
There were two skeletons of humans in a distance in front of me glaring with their soul-less
eye sockets.

Looks like we arent the first ones here I chuckled.
Stop scaring me Sally said glancing at them.
I think theres a way to get out she said handling something. Look! Its a panel with
alphabets on it!
English alphabets I replied suspiciously as I walked towards it.
Do you think we should insert a password?
Looks like it.
Sally started entering into deep thoughts. How about the magic lamp?
No, it seems too easy. Theres got to be a catch or something I replied.
But she inserted the magic lamp without paying a heed to my statement.
Suddenly, the room began to shake and was showered by arrows from the walls. We got lucky
as we hid behind a huge pillar just in time to save our lives.
See! This is why you should listen to me sometimes! I said angrily.
At times I feel like Im the assistant! I added.
Sally rolled her eyes at me.
We cant risk our lives like that. We need to think more carefully I said calming myself.
We began thinking and thinking. I was looking around the room for clues but couldnt find any.
For some unknown reason, I felt like this trap was too easy, excluding the arrow shower of
course.
I mean, meaningless hieroglyphs*, English alphabets, English password, and only one English
sentence written in the entire
Thats it! I shouted as I startled Sally when she was almost about to doze off.
You found it? Sally said rubbing her eyes.

Yes! Its been in front of our eyes the whole time! Well, technically above our eyes.
Sally looked up and stated You mean the sentence that doesnt make any sense?
Yes! Except it does make sense, see?
Closest Hour As New Catastrophe Emerges.
Take the first alphabet of each word and it spells CHANCE! Said Sally with an expression of
realization.
We hurried to the panel and wrote it down. The door opened as expected.
This is it, our chance to escape I said while getting a split second of daylights glimpse before
slipping into another trap 200 ft below underground
