Statement of the Problem
This study will be conducted to find out the effects of parental absence of the
Special Science Class (IV, V, VI) pupils studying at Janiuay Pilot Elementary School at
S.M. Villa St., Janiuay,Iloilo during the school year 2015-2016.
Specifically, this will answer the following questions:
1. What are the effects of absentee parent to the academic performance of the
children?
2. What is the academic performance of children whose parents are working
abroad?
3. Is there any significant relationship between the academic performance of
the children and the effects of the absentee parents?
