TYPES OF DRONES

Domestic Drones- domestic drones are

drones that are allowed to be used in
public. They are smaller, slower, and
have less technology than military
drones. They are used for a multitude of
reasons such as drone racing,
landscaping, search and rescue, cave
exploration, and film making.

Military Drones- military drones are a lot different than domestic

drones. They are very big planes that are remotely controlled. Military
drones can travel much larger distances than domestic drones can.
They are primarily used for surveillance of foreign areas or to attack
foreign enemies.

PROBLEMS WITH DOMESTIC DRONES

Domestic drones were created for simple uses, they were created to help people or
for people to have fun with them. Despite the original use for drones people have
used drone for criminal activity. There have been multiple cases of drones being
used to smuggle contraband across boarders and into prisons. There have also
been cases where people have used these drones to spy on people. The worst case
that is known is that someone have used a drone to drop radioactive material on
the prime minister of Japans house.

FIXING DOMESTIC DRONE ISSUES

Although there havent been a very serious issue with these drones yet it is only a
matter of time before something will happen. New technology is being invented
everyday and some of these new technologies could be added to domestic drones.
The U.S. government has been enforcing some regulations to drones but those can
only go so far. We need to have a set of laws enforcing what can and cant be used
on drones. The police are starting to use drones and there are going to be a set of
laws made to limit the way they can use the drones. Eventually without these laws
and restrictions on domestic drones there could be drones flying around with
weapons and advanced technology. That can not happen.

Military drones seem like a means to an end to the endless lives in war. They are
pretty much remote controlled robots that can fly, they do not need someone on or
around it to operate it. No casualties lost or anything...at least not that you know of.
Military drones main function is to provide surveillance and if necessary to attack
foreign enemies. There have been more drones strikes while President Obama has
been in office than any other presidency. In 90% of drone strikes the target was not
the only person killed, that can be any bystander that was around. There have been
innocent lives lost from these drone strikes.

FIXING MILITARY DRONE PROBLEMS

The only way to fix the innocent casualties that drone strikes is too completely stop
using them. Although drones are a way of warfare that nobody on our side can get
killed, there are innocent people using their lives. We cant let this keep happening,
it is causing more problems than it is fixing. Drone strikes are killing and injuring
people that should not have been hurt in the first place. I realize that the original
targets that are targeted by the drones are bad people but there should not be a
loss of innocent lives.
