HUAWEI Safety Informatio Following All Safety Precautions Before any operation, read the instructions and precautions In this document carefully to minimize the possibility of accidents, The Danger, Caution, and Note items in the documents do not cover all the safety precautions that must be followed. The safety precautions provided in the documents are supplementary. You must comply with the local safety regulations. Qualified Personnel Only The personnel in charge of installation and maintenance must be trained and master the correct operating methods and safety precautions before beginning work. symbols A This symbol indicates that casualty or serious accident may occur if you ignore DANGER the safety instruction. Safety of Personnel + The high voltage power supply provides power for running the system. Direct contact with the high voltage power supply or contact through damp objects may result in fatal danger. ‘+ Non-standard and improper high voltage operations may result in fire and electric shock. + Ina thunderstorm, do not perform operations on high voltage and AC power supply facilities or on a steel tower and mast. ‘= Ground the device before powering on the device. The electrolyte may erode metal and boards, or even cause rust of the equipment or short circuits in the boards. A CAUTION a. When installing the main fixture, ensure that the arrow on the main fixture is upward. b. When installing the main fixture, ensure that the contact piece on the fixture is secured. CO note To facilitate maintenance, you should ensure that the bottom of the main fixture is 1200 mm to 1600 mm above the ground. © Use an adjustable wrench to tighten the nuts until the main and auxiliary fixtures are secure on the pole @ Install the auxiliary fixture between the heads of the dual- head nuts on the main fixture. Installation position for the auxiliary fixture UF Ensure that the arrow on the auxiliary fixture is upward O=3 TIP You may fit one end of the auxiliary fixture on the dual-head nut before installing the fixtures. When installing the auxiliary fixture, you only need to fit the other end of the auxiliary fixture on the other daul-head nut. @ Fit the tabs on the attachment plate on the RRU into the anchor slots on the main fixture. This screw is fastened only if the RRU needs to be removed. nstalling the RRU on a Metal Pole GB Installing Two RRUs in Back-To-Back Mode @ Install an RRU first.
