Lesson Plan based on Communicative Approach Teaching

(CLT)

Lesson Topic
The topic of the lesson is to teach about numbers.
Lesson Goals
Present the students cardinal numbers and how to use them.
Learning strategies
Write the numbers on the broad to facilitate the
association with numbers in English.
Sing a song containing the topic.
Ask students to answer questions already stetted
using numbers between each other.
Repeat the numbers.

Structure
Preparation (2 minutes)
Introduce the class by showing the numbers on the board;
Ask if they can recognize those numbers.

Practice: (8 minutes)
Start the song activity Rock Around The Clock and sing with them;
Dot not correct the student directly;
Ask the students if they liked the song and what type of music the
enjoy the most;
Deliver the paper sheet containing the questions,
Tell them to ask each other the questions and answer using the
numbers;
Repeat the numbers out loud.

Expansion (homework for next class)

Deliver the paper sheet with the number to connect
with the corresponding word.

Exercises paper sheets;
Speaker;
Black board.
