What is no child left behind.


The No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB), which passed Congress with overwhelming bipartisan support in 2001 and
was signed into law by President George W. Bush on Jan. 8, 2002, is the name for the most recent update to
the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965.

The united states was not competitive enough, than the other races. President
bush wanted a change that's why he made a thing called no child left behind.

what events lead to the development of it?


Special focus on ensuring that states and schools boost the performance of certain groups of students, such as
English-language learners, students in special education, and poor and minority children, whose achievement,
on average, trails their peers.

What effects has it had on education?

The effect it had on education is that no child is left behind and that everybody
gets the same amount of teaching, and that no child will be left behind.
