SUBJECT: Recommendation that Commissioners Court authorize the Toll Road
Authority to defer toll rate adjustments scheduled for calendar year
2016
Dear Court Members:
Itis recommended that Commissioners Court authorize the Toll Road Authority to defer
toll rate adjustments scheduled for calendar year 2016. Per the Haris County Toll Rate
Setting Policy, five tolled ramps on the HCTRA system are scheduled for a toll rate
adjustment (ncrease from $0.40 to $0.45) in calendar year 2016. The projected
increased revenues from these adjustments, however, are not expected to reasonably
offset agency and contractor time and expenses incurred for effective implementation of
this rate adjustment.
Sincerely,
oe somal
