NYS ASSEMBLY MINORITY CONFERENCE CALLS FOR IMMEDIATE
LEGISLATIVE INTERVENTION FOR HEROIN
& SUBSTANCE ABUSE LEGISLATION
Assembly Minority Leader Brian M. Kolb (R,C-Canandaigua), Assemblyman Joseph M. Giglio (R,C,IGowanda), chairman of the Assembly Minority Task Force on Heroin Addiction & Community Response and
members of the Assembly Minority Conference will hold a press conference TODAY, June 1, 2016 at 11:30
a.m. in the back of the Assembly Chamber to call for action on critical heroin and substance abuse legislation
before the end of this years session.
With eight days remaining on the session calendar, Assemblymen Kolb and Giglio will be joined by
members of the Assembly Minority Conference, members Senate Majority Conference, parents and
representatives from advocacy organizations.
