Changing Line Spacing in Word XP

To change line spacing from single to double, space and a half:

1. If more than one paragraph is to be changed, select the paragraphs.
2. Do one of the following:
a. From the formatting tool bar, click the drop down arrow on the
Spacing button and click one of the choices.

b. Use the shortcut keys: CTRL + 1 for single spacing, CTRL + 2 for double spacing
or CTRL + 5 for space and a half line spacing.

OR
c. Click Format, Paragraph and change the line
spacing:
Click OK to apply the line spacing

OR
d. Right click the selected text, then click
Paragraph on the
shortcut menu:

This will also display the Paragraph dialog box

Change the line spacing and click OK to apply the line spacing
