Nora Stephanie Morales
Harris County District Attorney's Office
1201 Franklin Street, 6th Floor
Houston, TX 77002
Dear Ms. Morales:
This is formal notice that your membership with the Harris County Criminal
Lawyers Association (HCCLA) has been revoked. Further, you are prohibited
from obtaining HCCLA membership in the future.
HCCLA is a voluntary organization with rules, bylaws, and a code of conduct.
Pursuant to your membership in HCCLA, you agreed to abide by the rules.
Membership in HCCLA is expressly limited to licensed attorneys practicing
criminal defense who agree not to disseminate our emails or listserv
communications with anyone outside of HCCLA.
After joining HCCLA, you became employed with the Harris County District
Attorney's Office. You failed to notify HCCLA you were no longer practicing
criminal defense and therefore ineligible for membership. More importantly, you
shared confidential HCCLA communications with employees of the District
Attorneys Office in violation of our rules and your affirmation to abide by those
rules. This conduct will not be tolerated by HCCLA. Consequently, your
membership has been revoked, and you are barred from any future membership.
Sincerely,

JoAnne Musick
