Position: Marketing Manager


Location: Stanmore, Middlesex
Salary: Dependent upon experience
Accountable to: Head of Operations

Hours: 9am 5pm weekdays. In addition, the post holder will be expected to adopt a flexible
working policy to work alongside Office Bearers and Heads of Departments if need be.

QUALIFICATIONS:
A higher education diploma is preferable.

Minimum 3 years experience working in the marketing sector preferably in the


third sector.
Working in small teams in task oriented projects.
Experience in office management.
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

Aptitude for working with computers.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
1. Manage the planning, content development, and execution of marketing campaigns.
2. Creatively plan and devise campaigns to generate awareness and funding streams for
departments and areas of work that are not currently attracting donations.
3. Proactively working with Heads of departments to obtain the requisite information in
order to promote activities of the organisation.
4. Write, edit and collate information needed for marketing campaigns, to be used for
online and offline channels, including mailers, web pages, posters, media work.
5. Provide clear briefs to agencies and designers on the look and feel of marketing
collateral.
6. Work closely with other departments and partnering organisations to lead on
marketing and communications initiatives, including PR.
7. Generate creative campaign concepts for online and print products, to drive deeper
engagement and yield among target audiences.

8. Ensure consistent company and product positioning throughout all marketing


materials, with a focus on the website.
9. Manage project schedules to ensure that deadlines are met, and provide weekly
updates to senior management as appropriate.
10. Manage direct reports and offer best practice guidance and support.
11. Liaising with colleagues, manage the production of media content, including
photography and video work of international projects.
12. To work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to protect and promote The World
Federation Brand
13. Measure effectiveness of campaigns and create reports for the Office Bearers to show
return on investment on a period basis.
14. Manage agencies and suppliers, and control quality, delivery and service.
15. Coordinate production of annual report to include activities of the organisation
throughout the year.
These represent a definition of the main function and requirement for this position but are
not an exhaustive list of duties. The post holder will be required, in addition, to perform any
other duties that might reasonable be considered a responsibility of the post and, on a
temporary or emergency basis, and assist with duties which are normally the responsibility of
others when required.
