Sesin 1. (2 horas)
El alumno recibe el anexo 1 y trabaja con la entonacin
ascendente (rising intonation) y descendente (falling
intonation) de preguntas de informacin personal. En el
primer ejercicio slo escucha y ordena las preguntas
poniendo especial atencin en la entonacin de frases.
Posteriormente contesta la pregunta: Existe alguna
diferencia en cuanto a la entonacin de preguntas con
auxiliar y las preguntas con palabras interrogativas? Para
que este punto quede ms claro el profesor proyecta un
video dnde se incluyen los patrones de falling and rising
intonation y pide a los alumnos pronunciar de forma
coral e individual las preguntas en el primer ejercicio. Al
terminar, los alumnos trabajan en pares y toman turnos
para preguntar y responder las preguntas utilizando la
entonacin
adecuada.

SECUENCIA DIDCTICA
(10 min)
El alumno trabaja con el primer ejercicio del anexo 2 en
el que se presenta el sitio web Students of the world. El
alumno contesta preguntas de comprensin de lectura
sobre el texto. En la segunda actividad los alumnos
trabajan en pares y reciben las tarjetas A o B. Cada
alumno tiene dos de los anuncios con informacin
incompleta, as que toman turnos para preguntar y
contestar preguntas y completar sus anuncios. El
profesor pide a los alumnos que realicen las preguntas
utilizando la entonacin correcta y la pronunciacin
adecuada de los nmeros.

Posteriormente, se les reparte a los alumnos el anexo 3
que contiene el formato para volverse miembros del sitio
Students of the world. Antes de contestar identifican el
tipo de texto y el tipo de informacin que requieren para
completar la forma. Cuando los alumnos terminan de
completar con sus datos personales se les pide pongan
atencin en dos de los anuncios que se encuentran
publicados en la pgina. El alumno identifica los
elementos que contiene los anuncios, tales como:
saludo, presentacin personal, intereses y despedidas.
Tomando estos como modelo, el alumno redacta su
propio anuncio para ser publicado en el sitio. Al terminar,
los alumnos trabajan en parejas utilizando una lista de
cotejo para revisar y corregir su anuncio. El profesor
monitorea la actividad.

Para finalizar la sesin el profesor pide al alumno como
trabajo extra clase que acuda al centro de cmputo y se
vuelva miembro del sitio utilizando los ejercicios
realizados en clase. Ya como miembro del sitio deber
seleccionar una persona de otro pas que considere
interesante para establecer correspondencia. El alumno
deber contestar las preguntas sobre el alumno que le
interesa: Whats his/ her name? Where is he/she from?
What language does he/she speak? Is he/ she the same
age as you? What are his/her interests? What are his/her
hobbies? Are you interested in the same things? El
alumno presentar su eleccin la siguiente clase.
