The assignment was based on a social problem I analyzed and addressed the

policies created to help the problem. My topic reflected the poverty, oppression and the
discrimination of impoverished communities. I implemented gathered research related
to the history of impoverished communities in the United States and how it was address
in the past as well as the present. I thoroughly examined the policies which helped
shape the need for assistance in impoverished communities. I critically evaluate the
issues that plaque impoverished communities and the policies that are placed in motion
for the relief of poverty. The research prepared me to work within impoverished
communities by learning the history and laws relating to impoverished communities. I
have the necessary tools to advocate for this population to help the growth and
development of this population.
