The assignment addressed a current social problem within my community.

In this
community analysis, I examined what cause the community to become vulnerable to the
problem. The strengths and weaknesses the community projects on reducing and
eliminating this problem. The effects of the population that is affected, the various plans
to combat the problem. I addressed crime as the current problem in my community of
Detroit, MI. I examined different measures to reduce or eliminate crime. I addressed,
community leaders that have implemented programs and neighborhoods block clubs. In
gathering data, I found that many people agreed through a survey poll that crime is
prevalent within our community. I analyzed the older methods of tackling this problem
and compared it with current models of interventions to combat the issue. However, this
issue is an ongoing problem that takes the whole community to arise an make a stand
for peace.
