As we all now, clouds are visible mass of condensed water vapor

floating in the atmosphere. Clouds have many types, most of them are
combinations of the basic types which are cirrus, cumulus, stratus, and
nimbus. Every type of cloud has a certain weather associated with it. Cirrus
clouds indicate a fair weather. Cumulus clouds also indicate fair weather.
Stratus clouds indicate stable weather. Nimbus clouds indicate a rainy
weather.
Clouds move in the direction where the wind blows. The direction of
the wind depends on where it originates, on where you live and the current
weather. If the wind moves from the north, the clouds move from the north.
Different layers of clouds can also move in different directions or what we
call Differential Advection where two or more air masses have different wind
directions.
According to our observation, it takes a few hours before the weather
changes. It depends on the water cycle, the clouds or wind direction, and
weather fronts. When too much water vapor is condensed in a cloud, it will
rain in a few hours. When a nimbus cloud suddenly winds up in a city, it will
rain in a few hours.
Like weve said, each type of cloud has a certain weather associated
with it. Some are the same like for fair weather. For fair weather, there are
cirrus, cirrocumulus, and cumulus humilis clouds. For stormy weather, there
are cumulonimbus, nimbostratus, and cirrostratus clouds.
