Dear Students,

You will participate in a forum to interview a partner about the best places he/she
has been to and specifics about the sites they visited, the food they ate, the people
they met, etc.
Please remember that this is collaborative work in pairs. Here the steps to complete
the task.
Step 1

Check the table below. Are you Student A or B? Identify the classmate youre going
to work with. Exchange phone numbers and/or emails.

Step 2

In this forum you will have to interview your partner (check the table above), via
email, skype, or other. You will ask him / her about the best places he/she has
been to and specifics about the sites they visited, the food they ate, the people
they met, etc. You have to take notes of your partners answers and write a short
paragraph with that information. Look on the internet for some pictures that will
help the class visualize what you are talking about (3 or 4 images). If your partner
has some pictures about his/her trip, it would be nice to send them to you.
Step 3

Record your findings in a movenote.com presentation which you will upload to the
forum. You need to use at least 3 to 4 superlative forms in your recording.
Record your video presentation like this:
1. Go to http://www.movenote.com/

2. You need a microphone and camera on.

3. Click on Get a Movenote account. Enter your email address and a password.
4. Name your presentation.
5. Add the images.
6. Record your video (refer to the images you are showing, need to click on the
arrows to change the image). When finished, click on SAVE AND PREVIEW
7. You need to wait until the recording is converted. To check your video, click
on the PLAY arrow.
8. If the video is not OK, record again. If it is OK copy the link.
9. Paste your link on Blackboard Forum My Classmates best place to visit.
10. Write down your paragraph TEXT and finally your video LINK.
Step 4

Finally, comment on one of your classmates posts.

Some tips!

Practise several times before you submit the final version.

Use a headset with a peripheral microphone for best quality audio.
Make sure you submit the complete URL. Try to open it yourself before
submitting it.
If you use another recording device, please check that the file extension is
preferably mp3.
