Symptoms
Early symptoms, that are usually present at
birth include, but you may not notice them:

Dull look
Puffy face
Thick tongue that sticks out
History
The first case of hypothyroidism was
described in 1850, and after that many
advances were made since then about
diagnosing and treating various types of
hypothyroidism. Congenital hypothyroidism
was then discovered by a scientist found a
correlation between low to almost no
thyroid and the symptoms of congenital
hypothyroidism.
Treatments
The main treatment that most people and
doctors use is early diagnosis then thyroid
hormone replacement therapy, the best
treatment is when it is diagnosed 10-13 days
after birth, and thyroid should be normalized
at 3 weeks old.
Choking episodes
Constipation
Jaundice, yellow eyes and yellowish
skin
Dry, brittle hair
Lack of muscle tone, is a bit floppy
Low hairline
Poor feeding
Short height
Sleepiness
Sluggishness
