8ngredients:

2 Lbs of Pork Belly cut in 2 in. cubes (Liempo)


1 Small radish cut in 2 in. small pieces (Labanos/Daikon)
1 Medium Onion sliced thinly
1 Small tomato diced
1 Eggplant cut diagonally
1 Cup of Sitaw cut in 2 in. length (String Beans)
3 Cups of Kangkong (Water Spinach)
2 Pcs. Of Siling Mahaba (Finger Peppers)
1 Packet of Knorr Sinigang Mix
1 Tsp. MSG (Vetsin)
Salt to taste
1 Quarts of water
Directions:
1. In a large pot add water and bring to a boil. Next add pork, cover, and let it
simmer for 3 minutes.
2. Remove scum from the broth and then add onions, tomatoes, siling mahaba,
(finger peppers) msg, (vetsin) and the sinigang mix and let cook for 10
minutes.
3. Then add the Labanos, (radish) cover, and let it simmer for another 10
minutes.
4. Add eggplant and cook it for an additional 10 minutes after adding the
eggplant wait five minutes then add the string beans (sitaw).
5. Finally add the water spinach (Kangkong) and add salt if needed. Let it cook
for three more minutes and its ready.
6. Serve with rice. Enjoy!

Ingredients

kilo beef, sliced in 2 inches length


2 pc beef bouillon dissolved in 4 cups water
or 4 cups beef bones soup stock
1 tsp. whole peppercorn
1 pc onion, sliced
2 medium size carrots, sliced in four portion
3 medium size potatoes, sliced in four portion
1 small pechay (optional)
1 small cabbage, sliced in four portion
Salt to taste
MSG or granulated seasoning (optional)

Instructions
How to cook nilagang baka:
1.
Boil the beef until tender with peppercorns and onion in a pot with the soup stock or the water
with the dissolved bouillon. Add water if necessary to avoid drying up.
2.
Cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Add the carrots and potatoes and simmer until potatoes are
cooked. Then add the remaining ingredients and put salt and MSG according to your taste. Serve
hot.

How to Cook Adobong Baka (Beef Adobo)

Ingredients

1 kilo beef (cut into 2" cubes)


cup vinegar
cup soy sauce

1 clove garlic, minced


tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
tsp. ground pepper
1 bay leaf
10 peppercorns
cup of cooking oil

Instructions
How to cook adobong baka:
1.
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and marinate for 30 minutes.
2.
Simmer and cover tightly for an hour or until meat is tender.
3.
Drain and set aside. Heat cooking oil in a skillet and brown meat on all sides.
4.
Transfer to a serving dish. Pour off all remaining oil from skillet.
5.
Put sauce and cook for a few minutes more. Pour sauce over meat, and serve.
6.
Garnish with tomatoes and parsley. Serve hot. Good for 6 persons.

BEEF CALDERERTA

ngredients

2 lbs beef, cubed

3 garlic cloves, crushed and chopped

1 onion, finely chopped

2 cups beef broth

1 small red bell pepper, sliced

1 small green bell pepper, sliced

1 cup tomato sauce

cup liver spread or liver paste (processed using blender)

1 tsp. crushed chili or red pepper

3 large bay leaves

2 cups potatoes, sliced

2 cups carrots, sliced

1 cup cooking oil

cup green olives

salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
1.

Heat the cooking oil in the cooking pot or pressure cooker.

Saut the onion and garlic.

3.

Add the beef. Cook for 5 minutes or until the color turns light brown.

4.

Add the dried bay leaves and crushed pepper. Stir.

Add the liver spread. Stir.

Pour-in the tomato sauce and beef broth.

Cook the beef until it becomes tender (about 30 mins if using a pressure cooker, or 1 to 2 hours if
using an ordinary pot).
Add potato and carrots. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes.
Put the green olives and bell peppers in the cooking pot. Stir and continue to cook for 5 minutes
more.
