to be learning better, relaxation etc. It shows the result of different frequencies. The
first is Beta frequency. Beta frequency (13Hz to 30Hz) improves alertness. It controls
the subconscious. Beta frequency (33Hz) improves awareness and super sensitivity.

frequency (38Hz) endorphin release. The second is Alpha Frequency. Alpha Frequency

emotion. Alpha Frequency (10.5) restored the body. The third is Theta frequency. Theta
Frequency (4Hz to 7Hz) improves absent-minded. Theta Frequency (6.3Hz) enhances
learning quicker and improve memory. Theta Frequency (7.0Hz) improves a psychic
incision. The fourth is Delta Frequency. Delta Frequency (1Hz to 3Hz) improves deep
and non-REM sleep. Delta Frequency (1.0Hz) motivates the growth hormone. Delta
Frequency (3.4Hz) sleeps like a dog.
How Music Affects Memory
According to a study conducted at Heriot-Watt University, it showed the
emotional when students are listening to music. For the Blue fans, people are imagery,
sociable, polite and alert. Jazz fans, people feel like the same with Blue fans. Classical
music fans, people are alert, pride, imagery and self-observer. Rap fans, people have

And it also helps brain to improve learning and memory. According to the centre of
new discoveries in learning. Dr.George Lozanov is a popular Bulgarian psychologist.
Dr.George Lozanov layout a plan to teach a foreign languages. Students learn about
vocabulary and phases for a day. The average of students that Dr.George Lozanov kept
was 92%. System of Dr.George Lozanov using a classical music instruments which
have 60 beats per minute pattern. The result, Dr.George Lozanov had verified that
classical music instruments can recognize accurate rate of approximately 100%
(O'Donnell, n.d.).
Music enhances intelligence and learning for some types of brain function such
as reading and literacy skills, spatial-temporal reasoning, mathematic abilities and
emotional. The reason for music enhances intelligence and learning are due to listening
to music or playing an instruments can actually make people learn better but, musical
training is better effected than listen to music (eMedExpert, 2016).
Conclusion
This research report aimed to find out how any type of music helps improve
students memory. This research report concluded that brain wave frequencies and
power of music can affect part of memory in the brain to be better. The kind of music
gets the different emotion such as Rock makes person feel alert and polite, Jazz makes
person feel like imagery and sociable and brain work because music have different
frequencies. Classical and Mozart help improve students memory the most because the
frequencies of them are low frequencies which mean it is similar to someone who
meditate, so students brain work better. The research report recommends further
studies on how can listening to music cure disease like cancer.
