Make a circle
Count the dots on the dominoesProvide examples of different
strategies when counting eg. Counting
on, subitising, counting in twos.
Model to the class how to arrange the
dominoes from the smallest number to
the biggest. Ask the students to join
in to help arrange the dominoes in a
line.
Individual task
Students work individually to arrange
dominoes from smallest to largest.
Reflection
Encourage students to record their
findings on a whiteboard anyway they
wish.
