General information
Use the User Manual, SAP No.: 1165-216, as additional literature on the VISUCAM lite fundus
camera. You must be familiar with the contents of the user manual to be able to work with the
service instructions.
The service manual mainly covers the defined spare parts and the description of how the most
important components are replaced.
The replacement modules have been chosen in such a way that replacing them should be
possible without a special training. If in-depth work on the unit is necessary, you should attend
the appropriate service training.
lite
The VISUCAM fundus camera does not have to be installed by service staff. For this reason,
no Service Report is necessary.
No fastening components are allocated to and supplied with the spare parts. For this reason,
the fastening components provided in the unit must be re-used when modules are replaced.
Caution:

After the unit has been opened, hazardous voltages are accessible. Take the
necessary precautions against the coming into contact with hazardous voltages and
comply with the applicable work instructions.

Cleaning Care and Servicing of the unit

Also see the Care and Maintenance chapter in the user manual.
The unit requires almost no servicing. We recommend having the unit serviced once a year on
the basis of an appropriate support contract.
The points listed in the "System check" chapter represent a work plan which must be completed
when a unit is serviced.
The optical surfaces can be cleaned using an ether-methylated spirits mixture (9:1), a special
optics cleaning mixture (SM-30-8005-32) or methanol.
