PURPOSE:

To inform the field of a new powertrain management controller.

DESCRIPTION:

Controller (7818-93-1005)

Controller (1, Figure 1) has been replaced by a new controller (7818-93-1005). The new controller
replaces part number 7818-93-1004 and all other previously obsolete controllers.
The new controller has improved capacitors that prevent a power ON fault caused by capacitor variance.
The new controller replaces the current controller without any modifications to fit, form, or function.
