THURSDA WALKING OUT your True Identity: X
Y Seed Lesson: Soil of our Hearts. Discipleship.
You are a NEW CREATION in Christ!
* We have 37 youth. We should have 4 teams of 9 (with one group having 10).
* Each team will have a designated COLOR (BLUE GREEN YELLOW RED) and team
memorization verse that deals with our identity in Christ.
* We have to plan for FOUR activities each day. (A total of EIGHT Activities for the two
days.) Each Activity will run ALL DAY (in every time slot) in order for each team to have
the opportunity to go through the Activity. For example, on DAY 1, Activity 1 will be
held for SESSION 1, SESSION 2, SESSION 3 and SESSION 4. The teams (BLUE
GREEN YELLOW RED) will rotate through the sessions in order for them all to
experience Activities 1-4 on DAY 1, then Activities 5-8 on DAY 2.
* Sessions 1 & 2 will be in the morning, after devotion, and before lunch. Sessions 3
&4 will be in the afternoon, before dinner and service.
* Each Activity can have 1-2 people manning it. The other Mongolia members will be
going from session to session with each group of kids. The Mongolia team members can
be rotated out in order for everyone to spend time fellowshipping with the youth during
activities.
Where can the ideas given in our Mongolia Meetings possibly
fit in?
~ Painting: God exists because He is the master artist (Gen 1:1). Activity:
Painting self portraits. God exists because nature exists... beautiful skies...
beautiful mountains... How can we not say there is a God when we assume
that if we see a painting that there is an artist?
~ Clay: He is the Potter, we are the clay (Isaiah 64:8). Activity: Clay
painting/pottery making. In the beginning... Who is this God of the Bible?
Who will mold us if we are not one with the Father?
~ Cross Necklaces: Jesus died on the cross (Mark 5:37). Activity: Making
Cross Necklaces. Who is Jesus? Why did He come? Why the cross? Why did
Jesus have to die for us?
~ Archery: All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans
3:23). For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through
Christ Jesus (Romans 6:23). Activity: Archery. What is SIN? What does SIN
do to our relationship with God? What can be done about SIN in our life?
