要 是 春 天 来 的 话 ，
If we came here in spring,

It's impossible for the plants to blossom twice a year.

dāng dōng tiān dà xuě fēng shān de shí hòu ，

当 冬 天 大 雪 封 山 的 时 候 ，
When the mountains are covered with snow in winter,

zhè lǐ de táo huā hán bāo dài fàng ，

这 里 的 桃 花 含 苞 待 放 ，
the peach trees here do begin to bud,

zuì zǎo wèi táo huā gǔ dài lái chūn tiān de xìn xī 。
最 早 为 桃 花 谷 带 来 春 天 的 信 息 。
heralding the coming of spring to the Peach Flower Valley.

Peach blossoms signal the coming of spring.

dāng dōng tiān dà xuě fēng shān de shí hòu ，

当 冬 天 大 雪 封 山 的 时 候 ，

But a few steps further, you'll feel cold.

jí shǐ shì zài kù shǔ shí jiē ，

即 使 是 在 酷 暑 时 节 ，
Even in the "ku shu" (high summer) season,

zhè lǐ yě zhǐ yǒu shí wǔ dù zuǒ yòu 。

这 里 也 只 有 十 五 度 左 右 。
the temperatures here are no more than 15 degrees Celsius.

dà niú ：kù shǔ shí jiē shì shén me shí hòu ？

大 牛 ：酷 暑 时 节 是 什 么 时 候 ？
When is the "ku shu" season?

hán jiā ：kù shǔ ne jiù shì zhǐ jí rè de xià tiān 。

韩 佳 ：酷 暑 呢 就 是 指 极 热 的 夏 天 。
"ku shu" means the sultry high summer.
dà niú ：kù shǔ jiù shì jí rè de xià tiān 。 kù shǔ 。
大 牛 ：酷 暑 就 是 极 热 的 夏 天 。 酷 暑 。
"Ku shu", fourth tone, third tone, means the extreme heat of summer. "Ku shu".

hán jiā ， zán men hái shì gǎn jǐn zǒu ba 。

韩 佳 ， 咱 们 还 是 赶 紧 走 吧 。

zài zhè lǐ dài le zhè me yí huì ér ，

as hot steam rises from the holes and cracks in the ground.
