I joined the environmental engineering group at IIT Roorkee, India in January, 2007 and I
hope to complete my PhD program by the end of fall this year. I am doing my research
out at pilot plant on Integrated UASB and different post treatment options and I am
determining the nutrient removal through SBR and stripping of sulfides by aeration
systems with the overall objective of determining the performance of aeration and SBR.
Before coming out to IIT, I worked for about eight years with different organizations
mainly involved in teaching at AMU India and on UNDP assignment in Ethiopia and I
am anxious to go to the Caribbean ‘because I like it!!!
