Changing a Dull Blade:
When your blade eventually gets dull, or if it gets nicked by accidentally cutting through staples or paper clips, you will need to replace it. You will need: Protective work gloves, an allen wrench that fits the bolts that hold up the blade, and a sharp blade to replace the dull one.
1. Remove the two outermost bolts.
2. Using the protective gloves hold the blade in place while removing the inner bolts. Slowly lower the blade until it is completely out of its channel. 3. Take a sharp blade and raise it up into the channel using the protective gloves. Makes sure the blade is sitting squarely In the channel so that the bolt holes are at the top of their channels. 4. Replace middle screws first. Now let go of the blade and replace the outermost bolts.
