1. How does peer influence affect language instruction?

Even very young children develop a sense of self from their perceptions of important people in their surroundings,
including relatives, teachers, and peers. If they can see that their peers don't socialize with the language being
taught, it will affect the development of their language learning. No matter how the teacher teach the students of
the language if the student spend most of his time with his friends not using the language well, there will be a
decrease of acquisition development.

Language teachers may assess what the learning style of the student is by mixing up visual, auditory, and
kinaesthetic materials and see who are the students reponded well on the visual activity the same with the
auditory and kinaesthetic.

Visual can use many visuals in the classroom. For example, wall displays posters, realia,
flash cards, graphic organizers etc. Auditory can use audio tapes and videos, storytelling,
songs, memorization and drills. The teacher should Allow learners to work in pairs and
small groups regularly. Kinaesthetic can use physical activities, competitions, board games,
role plays etc. Those activities that allow them to move around and be active Tactile can use
board and card games, demonstrations, projects, role plays etc. and use while-listening and
reading activities. For example, ask students to fill in a table while listening to a talk, or to
label a diagram while reading.
