1st Canon Tuna Festival Photography Competition

UNDERTAKING

(KINDLY FILL UP COMPLETELY AND LEGIBLY. ONE UNDERTAKING PER PHOTOGRAPHER.)

I, ____________________________________, having fully read and agreed to the Mechanics and

Contest Rules of the 1st Canon Tuna Festival Photography Competition, hereby submit my photo
entry/entries and do hereby state the following:

1. That the photo entry/entries was/were taken by me, personally, at any given time from
September 18-26, 2010 at any place or location within the jurisdiction of Gen. Santos City during
any of the official component or officially accredited event of Tuna Festival 2010.
2. That the concept contained in the said photo/s is original, and that the photo/s had never been
submitted or will be submitted to any other digital photography competition or publication or any
other use except being submitted solely for the 1st Canon Tuna Festival Photography
Competition.
3. That the submitted photo/s was/were captured using a Canon digital camera, as indicated in the
corresponding Photo Entry Form/s accompanying this Undertaking.
4. That the submitted photo/s is/are neither owned by other person or entity nor subject of any
copyright or intellectual property issue, other than by me.
5. That the said photo/s had never been altered digitally in any manner whatsoever and that all
enhancements, if any, were done on-camera.
6. That I acknowledge and agree that the decision of the judges is final and not subject to any
appeal.
7. That I fully agree to the full use of the submitted photos in all promotional efforts of Canon
Marketing (Philippines), Inc. However, it is agreed with Canon Marketing (Philippines), Inc. that I
shall retain in full my copyright/intellectual property right over the submitted photo entry, with
full acknowledgment of my name without any monetary compensation or anything of pecuniary
value.
8. That the submission of my photo entry/entries is fully in accordance with the Mechanics and
Contest Rules of the competition.
