Introduction :
As more and more organizations are entering the Indian market , the
biggest issue facing them is retaining employees. 27% employees leave
the organization every year because of various factors. This phenomena
will be the focus of our study.

Rationale for Taking this project:


This project will give us an insight into what are the reasons behind
employees switching companies and strategies to retain the talent pool of
an organization.
It will thus help organizations avoid the cost of employing new talent.

Objective:
Our aim is to understand and analyse the issue of employee attrition from
the employees as well as the employers persceptive . Using this analysis,
we will come up with an integrated strategy to counter this issue.

Scope :
Our project will focus on the Indian IT sector.Firms based outside India
but operating within india will also come within the projects purview.

Methodology :
1st phase - Data collection will be through face-to-face as well as
telephonic interviews and questionares sent out by mails.
2nd phase - Analysis of data collected from employees and organizations.
3rd phase – Development of strategies based on previous data.

Expected Outcome :
Our in depth analysis will give the reasons for high attrition rates and
specific measures being taken to reduce it.
