Bugatti Veyron

This is the latest piece of engineering from Bugatti, it’s absolutely amazing. Designed and
developed by the German Volkswagen Group it has a 8.0 liter engine witch produces 1200 Hp and a
top speed of 431 km/h, the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, developed in 2010, is the fastest production
car in the world. The original version has 1001 Hp a top speed of 408 km/h and it was developed in
2005.

The engine on the Super Sport version is a W16 with sixteen cylinders in four banks of four, while
the original version of the Veyron has the same engine the only difference is that it produces only
1001 Hp instead of 1200 Hp. Both go from 0-100 Km/h in 2.5 seconds and both have a fuel economy
of 29L / 100km in city and 18L/100km on highway.

There are 4 radiators for the engine cooling, 1 radiator for the transmission oli, 1 radiator for the
differential oil and 1 radiator for the engine oil, they say that those 7 radiators suck as much air in a
second as o human breaths in four days.They also say that the engineer who designed the carbon
fiber brakes has got white hair at the end of the project.

Well, now it is time to say the price of this magnificent car. The original Bugatti Veyron costs
€1,301,980 and the Super Sport Bugatti Veyron costs €1,912,500.

Despite the enormous price, I think this car is really the concord of engineering and it will be many
years from now, because it’s not only the speed that it’s impressing but also the design and the
shape of this car, the fact it’s practical on most roads and the hard work of many people that had
one dream. To achieve the impossible.
