OPENING
This is my English speech material about
national exam preparation is not important, I am
sorry if there are any grammatical errors. I hope
this English material can give some good impact
on the debate, and I hope this debate material
not a bad offence to others

THE HISTORY OF NATIONAL EXAM

Period 1965 - 1971, during this period, the final exam system
called the State Exam, applies to almost all subjects. Even the
exam and determined by the central government implementation
and uniform for all regions in Indonesia

Periode1972 - 1979, in 1972 set the school exam system in which

each school or group conducting the final examination of each
school. Problem and processing exam results are all determined by
each school / school groups. The central government only to
prepare and issue guidelines that are general.

BACKGROUND OF STUDY
We study this problem because we knot that some of the students
and teachers also, get terrified of national exam and so afraid that
the students can’t pass the national exam or afraid that the students
can get into the public scholl that require decent amount of score.

PROBLEM

The problem is so many public school that need national exam

score as the requirement to enter the school (this problem not
applied to the private school though). So it’s hard to convince that
the national exam preparation is not the most important thing in
teaching and learning program

OUR SUGGESTION OF THE PROBLEM

We suggest that the school not declare that national exam

preparation is the most important thing. Why? Because there is
another important thing and maybe more important than national
exam preparation, and yet to enter the Private school you still need
to enter the entrance test

We suggest that the teachers and students not only focus on

national exam preparation. Why? Some students stop doing their
hobby and their extracurricular that might me their interest and
talent because of national exam preparation

We suggest that you all not make national exam as some kind of
relic or divine object. Why? Because when you do that you will
lose all your precious time and it just make yourselves stress, too
much preparation with stress could make worst score than people
who not spend so much time but do it with confident

CONCLUSION

Our conclusion to the problem is national exam

is something you need to do, but if you too focus
on that you might loss your time to learn another
thing, because learning is not only reading book
and do school exercise learning is about making
yourselves better in something not only about
formal lesson. Your profession in the future
might be wouldn’t have any relation with the
formal lesson in the school. So national
preparation is not important
