REGISTRATION: Pre-registration (through DePaul.Experience
"Calendar" section) is open until Wednesday, November 3.
PREPARE FOR THE FAIR:
1. Do your homework--Target the employers!
Research the companies and be aware of the positions they are
recruiting. Develop a 30 second pitch describing your strengths
and knowledge. Categorize your interests ex: A) companies, B)
companies C) companies. Start by visiting B companies to
practice your pitch. A full list of participating employers can be

2. Attend the "Maximize Your Job & Internship Fair
Experience" workshop.
This FREE 1-1 ½ hour session teaches participants how to
effectively showcase their skills and abilities at a fair. Workshops
will be held:
* Tue., Nov. 2, 12:00-1:30pm – Loop Campus, DPC 9500
3. Pre-register for one of these FREE session through
DePaul.Experience's"Calendar" sectionVisit the Career
Center's Peer Career Advisors for a resume review.
Peer Career Advisors are highly trained undergraduates who
advise students and alumni concerning basic career related
issues on a walk-in basis.
4. Dress for success & bring plenty of resumes!
Professional dress is strongly recommended by the Career
Center – it's what employers will expect of you! A business suit or
a professional style pair of slacks, button down shirt or blouse
and dress shoes are considered appropriate attire for job and
internship fairs.
5. Practice interviewing online with InterviewStream.

want to prepare for all of your job, internship and co-op
interviews.
