How to use this table

- The installation is supplied with the necessary mains voltage by the supply authority. Comply with the regulations of the supply authority which
fixes the power limit at which a motor can be started without reduction of the peak.

- The installation is supplied by a step down power transformer. Check to see if the peak starting current could cause a trip on the high voltage
side of the transformer. Compare the starting peak of the direct-on-line motor selected depending on one or the other of the following criteria -

The starting peak is acceptable - Check that the drop in line voltage is not too great. If so:
- reinforce the line or
- select another starting method
The starting peak must be reduced or the voltage drop is too great.
- choose another starting method
- check that under these conditions the torque obtained is sufficient.
