m\c structure

It is the load carrying & supporting member of the machine tool.

All the motors, drive mechanism & other functional assemblies are aligned &
rigidly fixed to the machine structure.

The machine element is designed to take static load, dynamic load, thermal load.

Commonly used configuration of m\c tools

Main Structure of Machines They are cast of high grade iron, melted by advanced induction
furnace, then cast in resin cores. In order to ensure stability and rigidity, they are heat-treated
with normalizing procedure prior to machining.
