Inquiry Question

In my Sponsors of Literacy paper, I spoke about how I feel my literacy has had a

tremendous impact on my music. I have decided, at least for now, that I would like to research

any correlation between literacy and musical ability. This is not only because of my personal

experience, but because there is data that supports a possible connection. Also, after having

thought back to my younger years as a music student, several of my instructors have shared this

view. Therefore, I would like to research the connection between reading words and reading

music.
