Do you agree or disagree with these statements? What evidence can you
find in your reading, personal experience, and study to support your point
of view.

Life is full of choices, and you can be whatever you want to be. However,
society is divided down to two sets of people, the risk takers and the risk avoiders.
The risk takers are the participants while the risk avoiders are the bystanders. I
agree with the statements: “life is either a daring adventure or nothing. Security
does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as whole experience it”, and,
“life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans”, quoted by
Helen Keller and John Lennon, respectively. Risk takers are more capable of
achieving greater success and personal fulfillment.

Risk takers are happier than risk avoiders. A recent study conducted German
researchers surveyed more than 20,000 people about their risky behavior. In a new
study conducted by German Researchers, the results show that people who enjoyed
taking risks were more content with their lives.
