4. Cut the shelf boards D to the widths shown in Figure 6. Cut
them to a length that fits your needs, but it is recommended that
you not cut them to a length longer than 36" to prevent sagging.

5. Cut the bottom shelf board E to the width
shown in Figure 6.
Note: If you have base board where you plan to
put the shelf you will need to reduce the width of
1 the bottom shelf E by the thickness of your base

4 7. Finish or paint the pieces of your shelf as
desired.

8. Using 3" cabinet screws, assemble the pieces as


shown in Figure 6 using the dimensions shown in
27 " Figure 7. Remember to adjust the dimension of the

bottom shelf if you reduced it's width to compensate

for your base board. Offset the cabinet screws 1 2"
from the edge of the side support boards.
