The rankings are on a scale of 0 to 10, with 0 being highly corrupt and 10 being very clean. Denmark, New Zealand and Singapore ranked as the top 3 least corrupt countries with a score of 9.3. Somalia ranked as the most corrupt country with a score of 1.1. Many African and Asian countries scored below 3, indicating high levels of perceived public sector corruption.
