Christmas Message - Giving and receiving

It is already ingrained in our culture the act of giving and receiving gifts at Christmas time.
Some ones alert to the fact that is all that's left of the whole meaning of Christmas. But apart
from how much this is good for commerce, giving and receiving gifts is a ritual that represents
the natural flow of what is inherent in life itself.
We are taught to give more than to receive. However, much of our daily expectation is to
receive more than giving. Much of our time is spent with plans that involve our comfort, our
protection or amusement. It doesn’t mean that all of it is not necessary, but immersed in this
relentless pursuit of satisfying the physical self, we lose the sight of our true nature of being.
A tree needs to release its fruits to follow the course of life. Life is a constant flow from the
inside out. This flow is a continuous movement, abundant and inexhaustible. That is the nature
of God, and it is, precisely, what makes you the image and likeness of its creator. Giving is your
real nature and there is nothing you can do to prevent this. Actually, you do so without any
effort: every thought, every word, every emotion and every gesture is an act of giving to the
world.
This incessant search for RECEIVE, at first, makes us imagine that RECEIVING is the opposite of
GIVING. But in truth, whatever you give, you have in abundance. We can only manifest what
we are and know. You can not give what you do not have. Likewise, everything that you want
to be or have must also be externalized. You exercise what gives to the world, learn from it,
and goes on to have it in abundance. If you want peace, you must externalize peace,
experience it, and learn more and more about peace. Only teaching peace, love, abundance,
will allow you to understand, assimilate, comprehend and retain the virtues of these same
qualities. Do not be expecting to receive the love from the world. Give love to the world ...
then you becomes love ... and thus the world increasingly will be a reflection of who you are
inside. If you want the world to be abundant, be generous with gestures, glances, smiles,
thoughts, words, give yourself plenty, and what you give, you will get.
The act of giving is an expanding movement. Have you noticed that when you're happy, your
chest can not hold such emotion and you feel an uncontrollable urge to share? God manifests
himself through you and you will be following your creator's desire when respect your real
nature, that is to give yourself to the world. So, choose wisely, stay vigilant and just offer the
best of you.

Merry Christmas!
