Education
He studies up to class ten in jassore Jila School. In 1929 his father
died. so that he had took after the family. He got married in 1935.
Initial stapes in business
In his boyhood Ahmed Ali used to accompany his father to
supervise his brick field business and construction works. This was how became attracted towards business. Opportunity had and utilized
He was at fast introduced to the Chimney type bricks field which
had the capacity to produce brick up to 2lac pieces instead of 15/20 thousand of traditional type. As a contractor, he at fast, built an an advance position for the British Army at jhikargacha, jessore in 1941. It was prepared as a step to counter possible Japanese advance. Ahmed Ali did it with sincerity and devotion and earned o lot of money. In 1945, he become first class contractor.
In 1945/46, he was one of the two first class contractors in
Bangladesh.
He established “Concrete Construction Co.” in 1952.
His Business Growth
• In 1961, he for the then Government of East Pakistan, had
built the first 9 storied building of the Sechetatiate which was then the highest building in the country.
• TSC of the Dhaka University was his beautiful construction.
• He had operated brick fields in Jessore, Khulna, Kustia, Dhaka and comilla till 1971.
• He had the business of lathe machine and saw mills also.
• “Eastern Marin Ltd” was his steamer Co. which he continued
till 1971.
• He was one of the Directors of the Board of Directors of the
“Eastern Banking Corporation”
• He had the share of Jessore Jute Industries in Rajghat.
• “Noapara Juit Mills Ltd” was established as a Public Ltd. Co.
in which initially he had the controlling amount of shares. Later on, he bought all the shares.
• In 1970, it had the production capacity of 6000 tons/year
with 1500 workforce. His Asset
In 1970, he had a total investment of more than a core.
Hurdles Faced
But due to the nationalization policy of the government, Noapara
Jute Mills Ltd, Jassore Jute Industries and Eastern Banking Corporation went to the hands of the government. As a result, he became frustrated and sick.

• He used to wear ironed clothes and used to like scent.
• Sweets were his favorite items.
He died
• On the 17th January, 1980, he died.
• He left behind his wife, six sons and six daughters.

He was the member of the Pakistan National Assembly from 1962
