I must have your completed peer evaluation no later than 5:00 pm on Tuesday,
December 14. This is the day of our final exam.
Please evaluate your group members’ overall performance on the various group
assignment and activities that we’ve had during the semester. This includes contributions
to the LINKS assignments, the case presentation, and the in-class activities.
Allocate 60 points between your group members (including yourself). For example, if
you have 3 group members and feel that each of you contributed equally (in whatever
manner your group decided to divide up the work), you should give each person 20
points. If you have 4 group members and feel that each of you contributed equally, you
should give each person 15 points.
While it is admirable when everyone contributes equally to team activities, perfect scores
(40/40) will be reserved for situations where one or more team members made
disproportionate contributions. Therefore, if you receive a high score on your group
evaluation that is not quite perfect, it is not necessarily because you were penalized by
your team. The best approach is simply to give as thoughtful and accurate an assessment
as possible.
If you decide not to give each group member the same number of points, you MUST
provide comments indicating why you think that the distribution of points should be
unequal. I need these comments in order to provide feedback to students when necessary.
I will not allow an evaluation with an unequal allotment of points to count unless some
clear comments are provided. I will not identify you to you group member(s) when
discussing your comments. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
