• 2 5⁄8 yards backing fabric
• 46×58" batting

Finished quilt: 39 1⁄2×511⁄2"

Quantities are for 44 ⁄45"-wide,

100% cotton fabrics.
Measurements include 1⁄4" seam
allowances. Sew with right sides
together unless otherwise stated.

Cut Fabrics
Cut pieces in the following order.

From each assorted tone-

on-tone flannel, cut:
• 6—2×51⁄2" rectangles
From cream floral flannel, cut:
• 6—61⁄2×391⁄2" strips
• 5—21⁄2×42" binding strips

Assemble Quilt Top

1. Referring to photo on page 1, lay
out two each of the 13 tone-on-
tone flannel 2×51⁄2" rectangles;
sew together along long edges
to make a rectangle row. Press
seams in one direction. The row
should be 51⁄2×391⁄2" including
seam allowances. Repeat to
make three rectangle rows total.

2. Referring to photo, join rectangle

rows and four cream floral
flannel 61⁄2×391⁄2" strips. Press
seams in one direction.
