Eric Duffaut
President Global Ecosystem and Channels
Eric Duffaut is president of Global Ecosystem and Channels, driving co-innovation with the
leading SAP ecosystem of partners to maximize customer value, and expanding routes to market
to increase customer touch points and coverage across all market segments. In this position
Duffaut is responsible for the comprehensive partner categories, including system integrators,
software and technology partners, resellers, distributors, original equipment manufacturers
(OEMs), and outsourcing partners as well as with inside sales, the industry-leading SAP
communities, and SAP EcoHub. Duffaut also leads the SAP® Business ByDesign™ go-to-market
team. He reports to Bill McDermott, co-CEO of SAP AG and member of the Executive Board
leading Global Field Operations.

Prior to his current position, Duffaut served as global head of Small and Midsize Enterprises (SME) at SAP. In addition, he
oversaw Indirect Channel across all market segments for SAP. Previous to that Duffaut led the global SME sales and channels
business and activities.

Duffaut started his career at SAP in March 2005 as senior vice president of SME and Channels in EMEA. He was pivotal in
designing the SAP global SME multi-channel go-to-market model and driving its successful implementation in EMEA. Duffaut
successfully ran the SME field operations across EMEA and had the overall profit and loss responsibility for Iberia, Italy,
Nordics, South East Europe and Middle East (SEME), and Central Europe.

Before joining SAP, Duffaut spent 15 years at Oracle Corporation in various sales and sales leadership positions in the EMEA
region. In his last post at Oracle, he was vice president of Sales Channels, responsible for Indirect Channel, OracleDirect and
Online Sales.

Duffaut holds a master’s degree in economics and finance, as well as a business degree. He also completed the advanced
management program at the Institut Européen d'Administration des Affaires (INSEAD).
