Part 1

The first part of the 2001 a space Odyssey is all about the development of
man up to present day when the books true story begins. In the bringing of part one
it appears as if the monolith is sent by beings beyond earth in order to stimulate our
primitive ancestors into evolving. Then I goes on to talk about the development of
there crude tools and so on bringing us full cercal to present day 2001.

Part 2

This part starts out with Dr. Heywood Floyd being kalled to Washington by the
president to be briefed on a secret mission to the moon. Apparently there is some
sort of epidemic occurring there but it is highly classified. He talks about his
experiences in space and how they made him feel. When he gets to the moon he
discribe the Clavius Base that was being constructed on the moon and how when
completed it will be completely self realiant because of the advances made in
science. There the doctor is briefed on the discovery of TMA-1 found in the center f
the Tycho crator, were a monolith dating back aproximatly three million years
making it the first concreat evidence found to support the theory that there are
other intellectual life forms out there.
