M
any of us think of a
trip to a dentist as
little more than a
having a tooth filled.
Dr. Lipovetskiy (Alpha Star
Dental Center, 8116 Third

You may also have it if you,
“suffer from earaches and ear
stuffiness; ringing in your
ears; and you hear clicking
and popping sounds when
you chew.”
Some patients experience
dizziness, difficulty swallow-
ing and even chronic fatigue,
he says. These symptoms
can be very painful, and they
can seriously impact eating
and sleeping. But the good
news is that, “The right bite
can relieve a host of these
painful symptoms,” says Dr.
Lipovetskiy, and he is the

the teeth and jaw are out of

nique that uses a special laser
to perform cutting and resto-
rations, says the doctor. “It’s
less invasive and more accu-
rate, providing a more pleas-

Waterlase does not generate
heat, vibration, or pressure,
many dental procedures can
be performed with “fewer
shots, less anesthesia and
fewer numb lips,” he says.
